Zemdrain® and Zemfrasa Controlled Permeability Formliners
Zemdrain® is a controlled permeability formliner (CPF) supplied by Silva Global and manufactured by Max Frank. Fixed to the formwork prior to pour and removed afterwards, it drains excess air and water from the concrete surface during placement, producing a denser, harder, virtually blowhole-free finish with a reduced water/cement ratio.
Zemfrasa is a separate product that delivers the same core function and the same concrete enhancement benefits, applied a different way. Part of Max Frank’s Controlled Capability Formwork (CCF) system, it has a light adhesive backing film so it is applied directly to the formwork, where Zemdrain is wrapped around the formwork, particularly steel. This makes installation quicker and more efficient
